Haley Mechanical is seeking a self‑motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our growing HVAC Technician team as a Selling Technician.

Compensation

• $30–$50 per hour (uncapped commission)
• Up to $6,000 sign‑on bonus
• Top performers earn $150,000+ per year

Position Overview

The HVAC Selling Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing or replacing HVAC equipment as needed to meet client needs. This role also involves identifying opportunities for system replacements, clearly communicating those opportunities to customers, and successfully executing on‑site equipment sales.

Technicians are expected to communicate effectively with both clients and dispatch, maintain accurate job documentation, and ensure all relevant details are shared for follow‑up or future work.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose issues with HVAC equipment
• Stay current on new products and technologies in the HVAC industry
• Run service calls, including repairing and replacing parts as needed
• Identify opportunities for equipment replacement and effectively communicate options to customers
• Collaborate with the install team to close and execute equipment sales
• Clearly document and communicate details of each service call to support follow‑up and future work

What You’ll Bring

• 1–5 years of residential HVAC sales and service experience (required)
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical or trade school
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude
• Ability to handle heavy equipment
• Ability to work outdoors
